LEATHER REPAIRS FROM LIONHEART LEATHER We all panic when we damage something and always think the worst, often we'll try and "repair" our leather chairs or furniture ourselves before realising that we've actually just made the leather damage a lot worse and a lot more noticeable!

The beauty with leather sofas and chairs is that unlike fabric suites, leather suites can ALWAYS BE REPAIRED. Give one of our technicians a call for a FREE and NO OBLIGATION ADVICE, on what to do before attempting the leather repair yourself.

We may be able to point you in the right direction in order that you can repair it yourselves, or for a fraction of the cost of replacing your beloved leather upholstery, our team of Leather Technicians will come out and examine the damage and suggest ways to repair the damage. Often minor leather repairs including, cuts, holes and scratches can be repaired and recoloured at the premises without any need to take the furniture away to our workshop.

LEATHER RESTORATION Restoration may include repairing a hole or scratch, replacing a piece of leather, removing hand and head grease, watermarks, stitching damage, general wear and tear, colour loss, pet damage or even recolouring your whole suite to it's original, or a totally different, colour.

Generally these types of leather repair are carried out in our workshop where we have bespoke equipment for bringing your upholstery back to an as new condition

LEATHER RE-UPHOLSTERY Like many things in life, as your leather upholstery ages it loses some of it's spring, it starts to sag in the wrong places and there appears to be more creases showing than the last time you looked closely at it......but you still love it and don't really want to get rid of it for a newer model if you can help it.

At Lionheart Leather we can give your suite a full facelift including botox! Cushions can be repadded, springs resprung, foam replaced, crease marks removed, colour rejuvinated and broken strutts replaced. LEATHER CARE FROM LIONHEART LEATHER Leather is an organic substance and though it is very hard wearing and durable, it does need a bit of care and attention from time to time, this may just be a wipe over with a damp cloth when you do the housework, or a more lengthy deep clean, reconditioning and stain protection treatment by one of our expert technicians.

Not all leather is the same, as such, a cleaning process for one suite may be totally the wrong process for another suite, resulting in more harm than good being done.

Our technicians will examine your suite and identify the type of leather it is, it will commonly be one of the following: Pigmented, Aniline, Semi Aniline, Rub-off, pull up or bi-cast.

Areas of damage or wear will be identified prior to cleaning and the suite will be thoroughly deep cleaned to remove all signs of ground in dirt and residues. The suite will then have a protection coating applied, if applicable, to prevent substances penetrating the leather and prolong it's life.
